Second Annual Swim-A-Thon Raises Over $3,000

The Middlesex Swim Club did it again as the young swimmers joined Grace in the pool to raise awareness and funds for the RE Chidlren's Project.  Many thanks to Megan Brown and Marj Trifone for organinzing this special event where community and friendship take center stage.  Go to the TV Channel to see a video of the event as well as Grace swimming.  We are so thrilled that Grace has found the water again and doing something that she loves.  Click here for the pictures of the event.

The RE Children’s Project is a 501 (c) (3) TAX ID - (27-1377807) organization devoted to Rasmussen’s Encephalitis, most importantly the search to find a cure. Rasmussen’s Encephalitis is a rare neurological condition that impacts children primarily under 13 years of age rendering them paralyzed on one side of their body and experiencing incurable epilepsy.  In many cases, the removal of ½ of the brain is the only solution to stop the uncontrollable seizures.
